The Ten Commandments, starring Charlton Heston, Yul Brynner, and Anne Baxter has been a favorite film of mine for many years. I do enjoy the classic imagery and classic story telling of old Hollywood. I always admired the look and feeling the vintage poster advertising of the day, so when it came time to decided what subject to tackle next, this subject was an easy choice. because of the genre and epic scale of this film I knew this painting would be my most difficult yet. The size, scale and the amount of individual characters made the task of completing this project a long stressful process.
