During one of the professional photography workshops I held at the Arles prison, I worked with Jacques C. on a board game: a visual domino, whose cards were produced by repeating the same form to infinity, as in a fractal.
The elements used are aquatic creatures searched on the internet among the
copyright-free images: fish, shells, jellyfish, algae, crustaceans.
