Minoan Lines "Sifis travels the Cyclades" - Campaign

We were asked by Minoan Lines to design a digital campaign for the launch of their new route from Heraklion-Crete to four major islands of the Cyclades. We approached the project with lots of fun from the beginning thus we decided to use a humurous way to go forward. The result was creating a fictional character called “Sifis” a typical Cretan lad who never traveled outside his hometown in Crete before and who is now ready to tour the islands!

Sifis is the main character of the campaign for Minoan Lines and its new route from Heraklion to the Cyclades. The campaign features a young native of Crete (Sifis) who is island hopping around the Cyclades trying to discover their hidden beauties.
As this is his first time touring the Cyclades, the Cretan lad is seeking tips and recommendations. For this a special website has been designed www.stiskykladesmetiminoan.gr and people were encouraged to participate, engage and share their own experiences of the Cyclades by uploading images or just their tips and recommendations under the hashtag #helpsifis

Sifis would receive the tips and to express his gratitude, each and every participant would receive via email, their very own, tailor-made Cretan Mantinada!
In order to increase engagement and spread the word, a special activation video has been created and streamed on YouTube as well as a well designed Facebook campaign. GDN banners have been designed, native content and visuals have also been designed as part of the digital campaign to increase awareness and engagement throughout the duration of the campaign.
