Puffin Logo created in Adobe Illustrator from a Reference Image

This was my first time creating a logo using Adobe Illustrator. I followed a very simple process of setting the reference image as a background template and creating circles that outline each section of the puffin's face. Then, using the Shape Builder tool, I cut out created a shape for each differently-colored part. Finally, I filled in the colors and added a thin, rounded, square frame.
