Praca powstała dzięki podróżom i zmianie postrzegania miasta, kraju i swojego otoczenia. W pierwszej części w technice akwatinty konstruuję swoje personalne megalopolis wrażeń i wspomnień. W drugiej pokazuję wybrane drapacze chmur, dzięki ażurom nadaję im cechy, do których nie są one w rzeczywistości zdolne jak wrażliwość, lekkość, finezyjności. Zamykam to w książce artystycznej. Megalopolis to poszukiwanie dialogu pomiędzy postrzeganiem a odbiorem, grafiką a papierem, przestrzenią a spłaszczeniem, ilustracją a grafiką artystyczną, budynkiem a miastem.
The work was created because of travels and changing the perception of the city, country and my surroundings. In the first part of diploma I use aquatint technique and I construct my personal megalopolis of impressions and memories. In the second part I show my favourite skyscrapers. I used a laser cutter to create these vector illustrations, and with this method I could obtain perfectly cut lines - gossamer illustrations of buildings through which permeation the unfathomable spaces of the sky. And I'm closing it in the art book. Megalopolis is a dialogue between perception and reception, graphics and paper, space and flattening, illustration and printmaking, and finally between the building and the city.
