I never knew I could get excited about taxes, but when I was serving at United Way of the Bay Area (UWBA) - the tax bug caught on! By UWBA providing a free tax service, more families were able to receive the tax credits they deserve. UWBA's initiative is part of the largest poverty alleviation effort in the U.S., lifting millions above the poverty line. Complex but beautiful.

I wanted other to see the beauty I saw.
