I was at Anime Expo as a volunteer for a whole week, during which I had time to draw! It was especially fun when the people from my department started a campaign for dungeons and dragons, which is where this character comes in. Her name is Surina, a Dragonborn Ranger with a Charlatan background. Since I didn't have access to my tablet during the convention, the first drawing I made of her was with the pens I had laying around in my backpack.

Second picture is a rough sketch on Paint Tool SAI, ironing out some details I may have been iffy on. Looks really messy, but is meant to be fast and loose, which helps me better understand what I needed to change before moving on to the final lineart and coloring process.

Few more details were added, such as the fine-tuned leather armor and the scales creeping up her neck and wrists. I used two reference images for this, which not only aided in design, but color as well. 

Final design includes colors and shading! (I got a little lazy with the background, but that's because it took me so long with shading all the different layers I used for this)
