Bakery's Website went stale
Another side project — another website that needs a little work over to become fresh and crunchy. So, I made a 24h redesign of its homepage. Here are some before and after pics ...
Some pages how they look like (before)
Beside the layout — which is quite old-fashioned — there are some critical issues here:
► the font size (12 px) is too small

► clickable parts change color into a light gray that causes readability problems
► pictures and videos are in a rather bad quality

Moodboard and Colors
Information Architecture
A new information architecture ensures getting the same information as before in a more effizient way. I had to redact the texts to bring the relevant message to the front. Headquarters, contact information and opening hours are now below the fold.
Placeholders
The pictures aren't good enough for a reuse. So, I got a placeholder (that isn't free to use) just to give an idea. And of course the logo needs a makeover, too. That's why I made as well a logo placeholder.
