Kinect Sports Rivals Xbox One UI & UX design.

Working within a range of areas at the Microsoft Studio - Rare, situated in leafy Twycross, UK. I was primarily involved in creating a totally new UI front end, which involved assets, animations, UX user journey flows and optimisations for the Xbox One console game  "Kinect Sports Rivals".


The video below showcases my UI artworks and animations aswell as user journeys to a variety of game functions.
A selection of game hub screens i designed and animated, CTA assets had to be large as users interacted with the Kinect camera, pressing the buttons mid air with their hands.
A video depicting user avatar development and character set up using a variety of UI functions.
All the buttons and player interactive assets were produced, animated and optimised within Adobe Flash (Adobe Animate) consideration for translation into multiple language support had to be considered and implemented.
The images below show the change of art direction regarding the game UI look and feel both within the hub and the game play areas.
