With the alternative design of this item we succeeded the followings: It can be used for its primary use(to open a door )or as a decorating object . All of its parts are on the same level in order the item to touch the surface and be stable. On the main base of the handle it has two holes so it can be screwed on every flat surface. The combination of art and design gives an impressive form to the object & another approach of how a handle can transform and be different.

CHALLENGE: 
We had to overcome two challenges: the first was to transfer the insect's characteristics to a practical & ergonomic design and the second was to construct the handle by metal (first model) according to this design.
