Much like my Daemon Monster Sculpture, this character art is the bi-product of my friends and I playing Dungeons and Dragons, though, in this instance, we forewent the usual high-fantasy setting and instead went for something a tad more Steampunk.  This campaign did feature the usual Steampunk Victorian aesthetic that is so familiar to fans of the genre, which I do rather enjoy.  However, sometimes I find the Victorian aspect a tad tiring and cliche, and I happen to have a very guilty liking of Will Smith's 1999 flic, Wild Wild West, so I was able to persuade them to have one half of this world take place in a Steampunk Old Western setting, which hopefully adequately explains this character's appearance.
