Tesco Unforgettable Bags

By simply introducing a barcode to the design, it transforms the bag into an ongoing discount voucher. Every time they bring back their bags, the customer gets 20cents off their shop, creating a habit reward that changes the customer’s behavior.
Each of designs represent the marine animals most at risk. Made from recycled plastic, any worn bags are replaced free of charge and recycled to make new bags.​​​​​​​
Launched across Malaysia, The Unforgettable Bag has shown promising results. During the first month after launch, 68% of the customers re-used The Unforgettable Bag. It's estimated to save 5 million bags by the end of the year.
