Ecoholics Carton Design

Project Overview
This project aims to explore the environmental impacts of the carton, remove hurdles to recycling and truly design for environment.
Though claimed as a recyclable material, it is very difficult to reuse Tetra Pak as the layers of different materials are glued together. Tetra Pak is made for mass production, easy transportation, but not for easy recycling. Moreover, the two Polyethylene layers are toxic to the environment and cannot be recycled even if people painstakingly separate the layers of materials.
