Project of retreat centre in Massey’s Wood, co.Dublin. Area of the building: approx.1500m2
Tearmann is the Irish word for shelter or refuge. This project is thought of as a place to enjoy and engage with its context.
The brief includes private sleeping accommodation of the individual and the common shared living and service rooms of the building. The centre also includes activity based facilities for outdoor pursuits with their attendant storage areas. There is a kitchen garden to provide food for visitors .
