In-between
diploma project, 2018
Abstract
In the shrinking urban structure, despite urban planning, “interspaces” are emerging. Although at first glance they appear to be useless or unattractive, they conceal a number of qualities. We perceive interspaces as spaces with untapped potential, not just empty spaces without construction. They create a series of opportunities that incite unconventional solutions. Their goal is not to be another developer project, but to conceal the nuances of space, which, when we read well, become the primary impetus of creative thinking. They create opportunities to learn new architectural methods and move the boundaries of architecture. The diploma thesis will attempt to observe such opportunities and their solutions in the global discourse. We will develop these options and then apply them to a series of other
