This Photomontage is part of a series where I am exploring the beauty and destruction of fire, a recurring damaging factor in the Brazilian Carnival. To create these images I have burnt one of my own artworks created in 2014. This represents, in a way, a rupture from my initial expression of art (the re-creation of what fascinates me in the Brazilian Carnival) to my own interpretation of the Brazilian Carnival arts.U
