Flower Child was a Spring Summer 2018 collaboration between River Island and NCAD. 

Inspired by elements of children's clothing & eclectic 70's style prints, this collection focuses on incorporating intricate detailing into clean silhouettes. Silk flower appliqués, taken from drawings by my 4 year old cousin, & loose quilting techniques are layered onto crisp cotton organdy. Vibrant knitted swimwear provides a necessary contrast to the sheer fabrics & reinforces the 70's aesthetic inspired by my customer profile.
