Harbin old city with a Helios 44-2 vintage lens
I spent over a week in Harbin North East China and used this opportunity to try out my newly acquired Helios 44-2 manual focus vintage lens.
And in the following I would like to share my photographs with you:
Harbin's old city is already mostly abandoned
and the houses no longer have tenants
but it is exactly that decay that makes the place so interesting
The part of the old city that remains is very small and limited to a few blocks
there are still pockets of economic activity
views of a bygone aera
as if time has stood still for 50 years or more
the revitalized part of Harbin's old city
other parts will also be restored and repurposed
