Great Evils Work Together | Typographical Poster
This project that began in early June was based around the idea of designing a poster that mainly consists of typography, alongside a few elements of illustration, to help create a visual reference to the similarities in the unfortunate health effects of hay fever, allergies, and many forms of influenza by the use of a police lineup.

This effectively reminds the viewer of how each of the three separate issues can sometimes be mistaken for each other, due to the fact that all three of these cases themselves are invisible to the naked eye, but can however be identified with a more proficient level of medical observation. Hence the inclusion of the over-exaggerated slogan “All great evils work together, be cautious”.

As you will see, the visual style of the final outcome consists of a single font using many different weights for a more diverse look within the text, as well as basic shapes and icons using various opacity levels in order to reduce importance on other elements that are better suited as background aesthetics.

The display mockup for the final outcome places the design itself into a black frame that is then rested up against a wall that shares a similar colour to the dominant colour of the finished poster. This helps ensure that both elements blend together in a calm yet formal manner that isn’t too distracting, or make one seem out of place from the other.

So, be sure to tell me what you think in the comment section below!
