European Parliament: Consumer Rights

Problem
European Parliament is working hard to protect the consumer rights of its citizens. The problem is that most Europeans don't know much about the consumer issues as such, nor are they aware that the Parliament's trying to help.

Solution
To spread awareness, we proposed a simple visual that explains what is often a very complicated issue (i.e. that the price of a mobile phone is often different depending on the IP address you are ordering it from). We also added a very special asterisk at the end of the headline to claim European Parliament's credit.

Why Asterisk
In the consumers' world, an asterisk* is often a sign that there is something fishy going on. Once we spot it, we can't help but search for its sister at the bottom of the page. In this visual, we wanted to use this reflex in our favour. We also made the asterisk symbol to look like a yellow star - like the one on the EU flag.
