"HAUS" Sparkling Water Range

Haus is a fictitious “world renowned” high class gin company based in Luxembourg. It was founded in 1918 by George Hoffman. Haus’s identity is modern with a traditional twist. The castle logo resembles the Vianden Castle in the heart of Luxembourg. For their 100th year anniversary they have decided to launch a new range of flavoured sparkling water. The four different bottles contain 4 unique flavours. The water can be drank on its own as a treat, or drank with Haus Gin. Each bottle is given a traditional Luxembourgish name – Laora, Otilia, Aiko, and Marine. Moving away from their usual structured and geometric look for Haus Gin, for this new range they have decided to take a more youthful and refreshing approach to the design. The reasoning for this is to appeal to a millennial target audience, while also maintaining its sophisticated and structured look. The free-flowing brush style illustration is quite amusing, complimenting the satisfying wrapped paper packaging and structured, yet exotic bottle shape. The strong and serious logo mirrors the informative typeface used. While there are many colours used, all the colours are quite calm containing complimentary tones which do not clash with one another. All of these elements combined create an amusing bottle design that will attract a high class utopian millennial. However, the slight tone of minimalism stays true to Haus’s original identity.
