FILM BASQUE COUNTRY
The Film Basque Country brand was officially presented at the European Film Market in Berlin. This brand includes the three Film Commissions of Euskadi, with the aim of creating a united front and finding new promotion channels to attract films to the Basque Country.
The three Basque provinces, Álava, Bizkaia and Gipuzkoa, share green and mountainous landscapes and one of the most attractive tax credits in Spain: a 30% tax shelter for local films, television and animated productions. Hence the idea of coordinating joint international promotion actions under the umbrella of the Film Basque Country brand.
Thanks to the collaboration of Zineuskadi, the Etxepare Institute and Eiken Cluster, the BASQUE AUDIOVISUAL initiative had its own space at the stand of the European Film Market in Berlin, where the Film Basque Country brand was presented.
A brand that graphically aims to give that feeling of protection, unity and solidity. It also wants to be a panoramic window, open to a whole scenario full of possibilities and advantages for the development of any audiovisual project such as the Basque Country.

La marca Film Basque Country se presentó oficialmente en el European Film Market celebrado a principios de año en Berlín. Esta marca engloba a las tres Film Commissions de Euskadi, con el objetivo de crear un frente unido y encontrar nuevos canales de promoción para atraer rodajes al País Vasco.
Las tres provincias vascas, Álava, Bizkaia y Gipuzkoa, comparten paisajes verdes y montañosos y uno de los créditos fiscales más atractivos de España: un refugio fiscal del 30% para películas locales, televisión y producciones animadas. De ahí nace la idea de coordinar acciones conjuntas de promoción internacional bajo el paraguas de la Film Basque Country.
Gracias a la colaboración de Zineuskadi, el Instituto Etxepare y Eiken Cluster, la iniciativa BASQUE AUDIOVISUAL contó con un espacio propio en el stand del European Film Market de Berlín, donde fue presentada la marca Film Basque Country.
Una marca que gráficamente pretende dar esa sensación de protección, unidad y solidez. Quiere además ser una ventana panorámica, abierta a todo un escenario lleno de posibilidades y ventajas para el desarrollo de cualquier proyecto audiovisual como es el País Vasco.
