ISTD - Typographic Brief

The aim of this brief was to look at the origins of language, by looking at the purity and beauty of the English Language. The concept, behind the execution, was based on looking at the issues surrounding grammar within the English Language, and so I decided to focus on 10 of the most common grammar errors that are made on a daily basis.

The concept is also mainly aimed at the younger generation of children, as this is ultimately where the issue of misused grammar begins, and so confronting the issue from young will hopefully help in minimizing this problem as a whole.

A promotional poster was made to be displayed in classrooms and hallways of schools, it should be used as a way of promoting the grammar cards explained below, as well as to promote the idea of learning proper grammar and how it can be fun, exciting and interesting.
There were a series of cards, each stating 10 of the most common grammar errors made within the English Language. The one side has the definition of the grammar error, and the other side has a rhyme or poem integrated into it, as this is an easy, fun and memorable way for children to learn about the error, as well as remember it in a relatable and interactive way.
The series of cards comes as a pack, that can be easily carried around school, and used at any time if a child is struggling with a grammar error, or if they are starting to learn about grammar.
