Botanic gardens, Chinese or Japanese gardens, winter gardens, French gardens, English gardens, hanging gardens, wild gardens, orchards and vegetable gardens, plains and mountains, pack ice and deserts, cliffs and paths, humans, animals and plants, flowers and trees.
The fields offered by nature to us are vast, complex, damaged for some, splendid for others, domesticated or untamed; and their numerous inhabitants. Each gardens have their own poetry, fragile or lush. The landscape has its lines, curves, rhythm, moods and colors. Throw in your creatures, your figures, your characters, your inventions: who lives in the natural world? How do we look at a landscape? How could we draw a secret garden? What visions to offer to our environment? How can we make children look at nature in a different way, and look at it with kindness and attention?
