I created solid design guidelines for digital properties and applications as one of the first actions when I joined The American Institute of Architects. The association's web properties were fragmented in look-and-feel, and also needed an overhaul. In partnership with my peers in brand and marketing, I also created a change request and tracking process. With my partners in web development, we created a modular set of standardized CSS files, a layout grid system, and a consistent UI pattern library. These were instrumental in efforts where third party vendors needed assets for their software, and it provided me with a way to earn more brand trust in the association from our end users on all digital properties.
