Design Manifesto
The aim of the project was to create a design manifesto and visually portray the ethic and morals of a designer. The visuals were created by exploring experimentation typesetting photography and photo manipulation. The experimentation included photographing over lays of transparency. The transparencies had sections of the type manifesto split into three to create a tryptic series that also went from a constructed to deconstructed layout.

I AM ALL AROUND BUT NO ONE CAN SEE
I CONTROL THE WHOLE OF SOCIETY
MAYBE YOU HAVE HEARD OF PIETY
I CAN BE A WEAPON OR A TOOL
AND MASTERED BY A CLUELESS FOOL
I CAN BRING A DICTATOR TO RULE
I AM MORE THAN JUST ANY OLD AD
DON’T CALL ME GOOD AND DON’T CALL ME BAD
ASSUMING MY IDENTITY IS KIND OF SAD
I AM WHO I AM WHO I WANT TO BE
INSPIRATION IS WHAT MATTERS TO ME
I WILL SHOW YOU WHAT YOU WANT TO SEE
FOR THOSE OF YOU WHO USE MY NAME
AND ALL FOR WHAT TO AQUIRE FAME
AND HAVING A WICKED AIM
I ASK THAT YOU LEAVE ME ALONE
I CANNOT BE MANAGED BY A SIMPLE CLONE
MY POWERS ARE TOO GREAT FOR YOU TO HONE
I WISH TO BE USED TO EDUCATE
AND TO MENTALLY STIMULATE
THE ONLY WAY IS TO INNOVATE
HONESTY IS THE KEY TO ME
YOU MUST PRESERVE MY INTEGRITY
AND ALWAYS ACHIEVE SUSTAINABILITY
USE ME TO FIGHT WHAT MATTERS MOST
TAKE DESIGN AS A DOSE
TO QUELL ORGANISM INSIDE THE HOST
IT WILL BE OUR FINEST HOUR
WHEN WE REMOVE THAT WHICH HAS THE POWER
NO LONG SHALL WE COWER
