Mixed Media on A1-sized Canvas
We were given a theme for our final project which is "Through The Looking Glass". It is up to us how we intrepet this theme so I tried to do brainstorming and mindmap until one idea came to my mind : Alter Ego.
"Everyone must have their own personality that they wish they had. This becomes their alternate personality in their life. This painting is a symbolic painting of how I see myself deep inside : a lion. A lion can be wise and evil at the same time. The color itself symbolize the power that I have deep inside, bold and strong. Though it is very dominant I also have a playful side that no one can believe once they know me for a long time"
It got exhibited at LASALLE Open House 2013 as the representation of Diploma Level 1 2D studies' work!
