I was asked to create two A2 sized infographics with the idea of explaining, in one of them, the social situation in which the project is based on and in the other one the engineering and architectural design of it. The project is part of an international competiton in which the contestants have to develop a plan that addresses "urban sites currently facing chronic liveability challenges that are largely the result of a city’s location on a physical, political, cultural or economic border".
"Green Terraces is a project aimed to target eroded and dangerous slopes in the Bogota-Soacha border and convert them into terrace systems for communal agriculture. This will give rural migrants and economic opportunity in an urban area with little job availability, preventing environmental catastrophes at the same time."
The project was created and developed by Guilermo Umaña and Juan Camilo Pinzón and have currently reached the final stage against two other teams.
