NetBright Packaging Refresh

Originally launched in 2014, the NetBright security lighting system was in need of a packaging refresh. The original branding focused on the technology of the system, but lacked key simplified messaging and clear consumer benefits. The refresh revolved around the retail packaging presence in major hardware stores. Previously, the system was awarded end caps and merchandising opportunities, but did not exceed expectations in performance. This packaging refresh was initiated to clarify messaging and to drive consumers at the shelf to purchase the system.
The previous design was a dark package that tended to get lost on shelf. The imagery did not illustrate how the product worked or that it was a system. By adding the gray bar the design fit into the Mr Beams branding while differentiating itself. The illustration of the house on the front is a better depiction of the system.
