Uncertain Harmony

This series revolves around the idea that "even though everything might not be fully realized in the beginning, everything comes together to work out in the end."

Layers of alcohol inks create the initial base for the work, which flow and combine at will to form a highly abstract painting that can change up until the time that it is fully dry. The mandala, which is created digitally, starts out as a single detailed section, only to reveal the final pattern once the section is repeated around itself. Even the collage that is created from the alcohol ink paintings differ drastically from piece to piece, depending on the combinations of color and composition.

While the individual parts of the work might have a degree of uncertainty until they are completed, the overall composition that they create once together is a picture of harmony, balance, and unity, much like the mandala itself.
