WHAT IS NOTE TO TASK?
Note to Task is a productivity app that facilitates the free flow of your ideas from thought to pad and provides the ease of quickly converting those notes into To-Do's on the go. Taking notes to later act on them? Note to Task will remind you of what you want to get done and help you stay productive.
USER PERSONA
After personally interviewing over 10 individuals, I learned that the ambitious and busy professional who joggles several responsibilities (school or side-hustle in addition to day job for example) relishes the free-flow form of jotting down their thoughts/plans on paper yet craves the pressure that phone reminders can provide.
DESIGN GUIDELINE
For the user who is too busy to go in search of productivity apps on their phone in order to avoid learning how to use, I aimed for a popularly recognizable font: Helvetica.
Moreover, for colour, I chose a single accent colour for the app to keep things clean and simple and to enhance focus. Green because world renowned Colour Psychologist Angela Wright shares that "Green is harmonizing and creates a sense of calm and reassurance. This is particularly helpful if you feel overwhelmed by all the tasks you need to complete." Moreover, another source states that green is the easiest colour on the eyes (requiring no adjustment) (CDI Spaces).
