Webpage design and how it would look on a tablet.
Web page layout Design Done in Photoshop

Another School Project. The project was to create a web page for an imaginary grocery store. The main color for the store is green and it was spring when I created this so that influenced the direction moving forward.

The Banner at the top has the logo of the company, as well as the other sections you can visit. I also included four squares with icons which represent doctor care, location, searches and health needs.

I wanted a nice big picture to represent the store. It's a grocery store so the picture is of food. I wanted a dish that could represent the spring season. Vegetables, that's what grows during the spring. I also wanted something with some green in it since its the main color of the company.

The sidebar is the same color as the green vegetable in the course, I used the multiply option to help blend the two pieces together, so the box would not stand out as much. The box lets people know about a sale involving that particular dish.

Backyards are a thing in the springtime. Parents are doing yard work and children are playing. People also like to eat. I decided some type of wooden structure would be good, Maybe to help people think about spring.

Items that are on sale that week are placed on the page as well as how much they could save. Deals shown on the front is a win for the customer as well as the store. The people get what they want and the store gets rid of the stock.

I need a color to offset the green. Purple is pretty close that type of green on the opposite side of the color wheel so I used it. It also gives it an Easter vibe which I didn't want to go too overboard on. I used a Serif font for the "exclusive savings" I didn't want the page to feel too industrial. It should also have an inviting feeling to it.

The truck immediately lets people know that delivery is an option, without them having to read anything.

The bottom is just a slightly bigger banner with company information put on it.
