MICHELIN
The Michelin Guide is over 100 years old. It was first published in 1900 by Edourd and Andre Michelin of Michelin Tire Company as a road guide. In 1920 the guide began to review restaurants by awarding them 'stars'. Today, Michelin stars are the most prestigious award a chef/restaurant can receive, though many forget its humble beginnings.
