This was an project illustrating a factoid of my choice, which was that Americans throw away nearly 7 pounds of trash every day per person. An ideally American man sits atop a gigantic bag of trash in a throne-like manner, with piles of trash behind him rising into the sky like graceful columns. In the foreground trash spills out as if it is a red carpet.
