For this motion ad, all I received was a flat JPEG image, and I was asked to animate it.
So, I masked out the character faces and separated them from the building structure. I then created a sky background to go behind the faces. I did a zoom out pan and animated in the faces as well as the title treatment. Fun challenge from a flattened image.
