The prosthetic called life.

The inspiration for this series of illustrations came from the thought that if we as human beings are incapable of doing something, because it requires something that we don't have, we are surrounded with options that will provide us with everything we need to get back on our feet again. It isn't that easy for incapable animals, who often have to survive in their environment without those sources of help. My illustrations are meant to motivate people to be those sources for them in any way they can.

This series was produced by at first sketching it with a pencil out of my head, then tracing it with a black marker, so it would be visible on the scan. After placing it in Illustrator, I did an image trace and expand, which made it into a vector image that could be coloured in. The colour tones and style of design are comparable.
