Museum of the Moving Image || Visual Identity
The Museum of the Moving Image is a media museum located in Astoria, Queens in a former building of the historic Astoria Studios. The museum originally opened in 1988 as the American Museum of the Moving Image.
The task was to rebrand the visual identity with a topic of our choice. My rebranding focused on movement. I used the color blue because after my research on MOMI, there is a strong presence of the color blue. The line "movement" type was created in Illustrator with the line and pattern tool.
