Soy sauces for Heinz.
Heinz, a leading producer of the eponymous ketchup, contacted Getbrand for redesign of Heinz soy sauce label. The old design was quite outdated and was not meeting company’s requirements to its own branding anymore.

Until recently, Heinz had only one soy sauce variety in its portfolio, but at the moment of redesign they decided to introduce two more original flavours.

Objectives.
So, the Getbrand specialists were up for a number of challenges concerning new label design:
- strengthen Heinz brand on the labels in accordance with Heinz guideline
- develop a common modern visual concept for the whole sauce range
- keep the continuity and the premium disposition of the new design
- underline the absence of GMO and preservatives.
Solution.
The basis of the visual concept came in form of the Heinz keystone (a uniquely shaped figure with an inserted logo). The black color was the most appropriate for the product communication: it makes clear that it’s soya sauce we’re talking about. The combination of black, bronze, and unique fonts creates a premium feel, and the preservation of the color scheme makes up for succession of the brand.
- «Today, soya sauces are one of the most popular products. Gourmets and followers of healthy nutrition will undoubtedly appreciate new Heinz sauces with the new design”- Heinz Senior manager Victoria Baltais comments – “Heinz soya sauces are made using natural fermentation out of highest quality ingredients, without any preservatives, GMO, synthetic aromas, or pigments».
