As with some university assignments there’s always some that end up being a much larger undertaking than first anticipated. The examples shown are from a project to create a short storied graphic novel or sequential art. In the end the effort put in resulted in a great little book that I’m proud to present in this portfolio.

The Steampunk arts exhibition in Oamaru is not a well known event. These following works were part of a series of pieces to help gain interest. A custom wax seal was made specially for it.
ArtsOrigin is a website designed for the fourth year major project. The intention was to create an online area where artists, designers and other creative types could come and safely discuss the issues of online plagiarism even to the extent of informing others where plagiarism had been found, in doing so creating a preventative measure to those with a mind for intellectual property theft.
Some screen shots of a motion graphic for an assignment. This was a typographic piece based on Jim Henson’s Labyrinth movie. It features an encounter between Sarah, Hoggle, and David Bowie’s Goblin King. The type represents character, position and emotion through typeface choices, movement and colour.
