I was inspired to draw this sketch because my sister attends Louisiana State University, and she loves tigers. I used a small pillow with a picture of a tiger on it as inspiration. I sketched out the eyes, stripes, and the rest of the face before I got started coloring. The original piece has a squared off appearance, and I wanted everything in my drawing to look more realistic.
