A Type Specimen book for Myriad Pro.
The Myriad Pro typeface was released in 1992, designed to be neutral and utilitarian font for Adobe. To contrast the intent of the type, I designed this type specimen book with simple typographic arrangements and vibrant colors to create interesting compositions and try to make the font seem "non-generic".
The booklet is an accordian fold book designed to fit inside of a CD jewel case. The cover is transparent so that the image on the booklet and the image on the case align when the booklet is inserted. There is a pocket at the rear of the case that contains individual letters printed on adhesive sticker paper, which were designed to reference the process of single-use press type.
