I wanted to try something a little more design oriented and a little more graphicish than my usual style so took a self-shot photo of myself wearing goggles and headphones that I liked as a basis and just messed around with it for a bit.
I ended up with a new logo out of it!

The one above ended up being my favourite. With the ripped paper motif, the concept is clearest here, with the image on the paper being quite neat and light, and underneath the ripped paper being messy, dark, and spattered.
It also looks like the smile may not have have been on the paper, but just on the more sinister place beneath.
That's why I chose this one as the logo design.
Also, unlike the lens flare ideas, all the others are, or can with minor, quick adjustments to the Photoshop layers be made exclusively three-coloured: Red, White, and Black. Any of those colours, though it would likelly be the white printing on white medium, can also be replaced with transparency, making it much simpler to print.
