Etxeberria takes its name from the Basque Country in Spain and France meaning ‘the new house’. We worked alongside renowned chef Javier Carmona to capture the spirit of a new house situated among the hills of the rural village where the food finds its origins.
With an identity centred around the theme of intersecting ideas, we created a brand style which was applied across a weekly-changing menu, social media imagery, and a simple one-page website. As the concept was presented in a pop-up space in Auckland’s suburb of Avondale, the brand pattern was further applied across drapery masking the immovable aspects of the venue.
