In this era where efficiency is highly emphasized, most of us are bound to a lead hectic and fast paced life. Zooming into SS15, Subang Jaya, where a lot of hustle and bustle are constantly going on and everyone is striving to achieve their best at all times.

Hence, we tend ignore the importance of relaxation which eventually will take a toll on our health, physically and mentally. Here is where the concept, ‘PAUSE’ take place. The concept is derived from the need of an escape from Subang Jaya’s hustle and bustle.

It is the neglected element in every go-getters’ lifestyle and should be incorporated into our life. People need an opportunity to ‘PAUSE’, before continuing in work. This project aims to create a space that emphasizes on simplicity and clarity, therefore enhancing one’s sense of relaxation and calmness. People are able to RECHARGE, RENEW, REJUVENATE in this space. The transparent glass cube structure creates a stark contrast with its concrete surrounding. Creating visual intrigue and entices passer-by to visit and experience the space. 

Furthermore, the designed is highly localized and it is designed to be a one-of-a-kind retail store that will lead the community to be a more productive and energized community. Thus bringing joy to everyone.
