When an awful fountain with strong references to phallus was set up in my school's main staircase people rebelled. My class was given the assignment to replace it with an installation based on the school's main design element - the letter X. In a jumble of strings we created a three dimensional X. The appearance of the X changes while going up and down the stairs, symbolize the school's endless possibilities of creativity.
