The art of Relativity in Arch/Eng/Const

One interesting effect predicted by the general theory of relativity is that time is altered by gravity.  For example, a clock in  the presence of gravity runs slower than one located where gravity is negligible; although this idea expresses the differences of what we know about time. We also need to understand that it is always relative to the "observer" even though the concepts of the speed of light & gravity are laws that can't be broken.

With this said, Let's take the concept of architecture and engineering.  When I attended college, these two concepts were exclusive from each other, they both have different laws, standards and of course perquisite. However, one thing that it took me over 10 years was to understand that they are mutual systems and thus need to work together under the eyes of the observer.  This allow me to understand them better to become an analyst.

They can not work without each other as part of the bigger picture. The paradigm of it all, is just like relativity. both are somewhat the same even though they seem to be different.  Both follow the language and grammar of mathematics as well as the law of physics. Whom ever says otherwise is totally mistaken but is ok, not everybody knows those little details to truly understand their concepts.
But look at this project, the edifice is build with Architectural High Strength Concrete by the design. even though the methods of building it (engineering Formwork) does not look extremely appealing to the eye however, it's necessary.

Look closely at their definitions.

Engineering: The branch of science and technology concerned with the design, building, and use of engines, machines and structures.
Architecture: the art or practice of designing and constructing buildings.
Consequently, the vicinity at any point of any edifice has a principle of equivalence of the theory of relativity. Engineers, Architects, designers, Physicists, mathematicians etc... have the responsibility of reaching out and come together regardless of their different sectors.  Just remember, just like relativity it's all about the observer in this case the observe is the art of the edifice itself.
