Akzidenz Grotesk was created in 1896 by the Berthod Type Foundry of Berlin. It is a monoline Sans-Serif, commonly used by “Swiss” style. Many other typefaces have been build off the back of Akzidenz Grotesk. The most popular being Helvetica. Akzidenz is known for being on posters, tickets and medical forms.
