The following paintings will be a part of the grand opening of the Veterans Art Initiative called Doodle to Fine Art at the Downtown Library on February 22nd, 2018. This is the culmination of a VA study and the artwork of local veterans on the committee. For instance, the work I submitted was all done while I was rehabilitating from my service-connected injuries while in the Air Force. It would be an honor to show you all how art heals.

Doodle to Fine Art is a collection of artwork by members of the Veteran Arts Council. Mixed media artwork was also created in a 2017 Columbus VA research project that examined the psychological and health benefits of an art-making workshop for veterans.
