The Solution:
Using Photoshop I added vibrant colours and details to the bold and elaborate pen drawing, which even got the attention for James Gunn the guardians of the galaxy director him self!
Due to the response to this collaboration my self and Nick are already working on further collaborations to add to a collection of illustrated character head shots.
