Building on the success of the other Flour locations H+A was hired by owner Joanne Chang to design a Fourth location in Boston’s desirable Back Bay neighborhood. The corner south facing space benefits from 15-foot tall ceilings and large windows along an important pedestrian-friendly avenue, this bright and welcoming space will be a welcomed addition to Back Bay café seen. The new store is related to its sibling store through the use of a similar material palette of Stainless steel, reclaimed wood, and grey chalk board menu wall. The center piece of the space is the pastry display counter appears to be a large white block of stone with a minimal glass sneeze guard emphasizing the beautiful pastry’s Joanne has created.
